Angela Fitch Wins an iPad for participating in RTC's Evaluation Surveys

Each summer, to account for Rising Tide’s overall level of efficiency in the lives of our entrepreneurs, online surveys are distributed to graduates of the Community Business Academy. The surveys assess the clients’ businesses in terms of profit, growth and stability. Each entrepreneur that responded to the survey received a $10 Staples gift card and were entered into a drawing to win an ipad2 or a $500 grant.

This summer, the winner of the draw was Angela Fitch, owner of Freedom From Frenzy, a computer repair company located in Jersey City.  Angela was very excited to win, and selected the iPad as her prize.  “I will always support Rising Tide Capital’s endeavors, win or no win, but winning is good too,” she said. “It caught me totally by surprise. I definitely hoped I'd be just that lucky but then I thought about the Rising tide mailing list and thought "no way am I going to win.”

Winning the iPad has made a big difference to Angie’s business. “Sometimes when I go to a client's home to fix their pc, they don't have any access to the net for troubleshooting or downloading drivers, so then I have to bring the pc to my house.  This will save time and effort.  I have found so many useful apps.  I am a news buff, therefore I have downloaded a bunch of news service apps, newspapers and plenty of games for my down times.  It's an amazing machine.  I love it!”
